New York Blue.

Every city has a key feature. The moment I put my eyes in New York I couldn't stop admiring the blue skies and the iron escape stairs. They are indeed NYC signature.

Love the eclectic façade, perfect iron stairs and it couldn't blend more perfectly with the infinite.

For now, blue sky will be called New York Blue, my favourite colour.

This week I'm away enjoying NYC (for the first time).
Lots to see, admire and photograph - I will share later on.
For now I leave a picture which caught my eye the moment I walked down Madison Avenue, and I pretty much relate to.

A Welcome Feature.

Doors, an important feature in any building. They welcome you (or not). I like the way they always challenge my expectations on what's behind it.
I love this door and the material surrounding it. Very rich entrance, isn't it?

One single detail I like about it, is the asymmetric handle. I wonder if was designed like that or a simple mistake.

Rough Choice.

I like when art, whether photography or paintings, have an aesthetic connection with the interior decoration, rather then standing on its own. The space makes more sense and energy flows much better. Some call it shallow, I think it's balance, don't you think?

Home Is a Coat Rack.

Always loved analogies. Quite often is my short cut to express my sometimes clumsy explanations.

This one, I heard years ago and never forgot:

Vacant.

Sometimes the moment we don't pay attention at all is exactly the one we're going to like the most. It happens quite a lot when I'm photographing, or rather clicking my camera's button. This is a perfect example of that. The detail grabbed my attention and clicked! As I'm downloading the pictures on my computer I felt in love with it.

Got it all: blurred reflection, vertical lines, round forms and rough textures. All VACANT.

Spell It Out, If You Must.

Windows are those little spaces where dreams start, specially when it comes to fashion.

Selfridges windows display is indeed one of the best in London. Always simple yet right straight to the point. The other day, quite late though, I passed by and couldn't resist to snap a few shots.

Get inspired. Start dreaming and spell it out loud. Sometimes is the only way to be heard.
