The Powder Room by Zoe Cassavetes is the first of "The Miu Miu Women's Tales", a series of short movies by international female filmmakers that explore their fantasies about the brand. Set in London's Claridge's Hotel, the short film explores the feminine rituals in the powder room.
When was the last time you enjoyed a Powder Room?

Dover Street Market.
Dover Street Market in London is a cult shop. Concept and Direction by Rei KAWAKUBO, she designed a space "where various creators from various fields gather together and encounter each other in an ongoing atmosphere of beautiful chaos: the mixing up and coming together of different kindred souls who all share a strong personal vision."
A space to inspire interiors and fashion I am sure.
Big names like Hussein Chalyan, Lavin, egg, Alaïa, Erdem amongst others, the best are all there.

Future Beauty: 30 Years of Japanese Fashion.
Astonishing exhibition at Barbican Art Gallery about avant-garde Japanese fashion from early 1980's to now. From space curation to the collections on display and videos on, everything was close to perfection.
"Japanese fashion design made an enormous impact on the international fashion scene in the late 20th century and designers such as Issey Miyake, Rei Kawakubo and Yohji Yamamoto redefined the very basis of fashion through their radical formal language, intellectual approach and ingenious reinterpretation of tradition. Their works are shown alongside Kawakubo's protégé, the techno-couturier Junya Watanabe, together with the acclaimed Jun Takahashi, and the new generation of radical designers including Tao Kurihara, Matohu, Akira Naka and mintdesigns." - Barbican Art Gallery
Exhibition curated by fashion historian Akiko Fukai, Director and Chief Curator of the Kyoto Costume Institute. I love the way he created a plinth for (almost) each costume on display. It recalls my final project at Central Saint Martins, which was about space curation.
Along with the plinths, walls of magic fabric recalling Japanese paper, defined the space giving a certain feeling of warmth and guidance.
This was indeed one of the best exhibitions I've ever seen.
The exhibition is co-organised by Barbican Art gallery and the Kyoto Costume Institute.
This video was on. "Notebooks on Cities and Clothes" by Wim Wenders with Yohji Yamamoto.

Friday Afternoon.
Weekend is right around the corner. It's that funny day we all look forward to do something different, random, with no special impact on our life, just relaxing! Something like having a glass of wine on a balcony looking at people walking down the streets and imagine what they might be thinking about.
Have a nice relaxing and random weekend.

Camel Again & Again.
They say creative people are very often obsessed with things. I actually believe in it. This week I'm totally obsessed with the colour camel and the elegance it projects. I can't get enough of it.
Here's a few details to enhance and celebrate such stunning shade of brown.

White | Romantic. Gold | Luxurious.
Yesterday I was watching "The World Is Not Enough" (for the thousandth time) looking for inspiration. James Bond's movies always make me wonder about timeless spaces.
Trends come and go but there are a couple of things I'm faithful to (as I said yesterday). Gold and Tulle are indeed two of them. They're both so romantic and luxurious, don't you think? There's always an elegant and innocence vibe in the air...
Here's a few fragments for inspiration.
